1.The primary role of the Division is to maintain relations with the local press and to keep them well-informed about the latest developments in Republic of China (Taiwan), especially in the areas of government policies, economic performance, cultural affairs, social developments and cross straits relations. This is to help ensure that the local media carries news about Taiwan as objectively and accurately as possible.
2.We develop programs for local reporters to visit Taiwan for media coverage of important issues and events in Taiwan.
3.As a resource information center to the press and public, We have a wide range of materials on Taiwan in various media form: CDs, DVDs, printed materials (booklets, posters)
