The MOE Taiwan Scholarship Program encourages Singaporean students to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Taiwan ((Please note that R.O.C. nationals or overseas Chinese students are not eligible for this scholarship!)) by awarding each recipient tuition and miscellaneous expenses of NTD 40,000 each semester.
Recipients undertaking undergraduate studies will also be granted a monthly stipend of NTD 15,000 and recipients who undertake postgraduate studies will get a stipend of NTD 20,000 per month.
Interested applicants should first register and upload their information on the application website. They should then personally submit or mail the original documents to this office by March 28, 2025.

Selection Notifications:
(i) The Taiwan Representative Office in Singapore will review the applications and conduct interviews and then select the successful candidates and place some candidates on a waiting list. In principle, each successful candidate who has applied to attend must be notified about the selection decision by May 31, 2025
(ii) Successful candidates must submit a photocopy of their letter of admission to our office by June 30, 2025, to confirm that they satisfy the eligibility requirements. A person who is not admitted into a university will lose their eligibility to receive a Taiwan Scholarship. For more details, please refer to the MOE Taiwan Scholarship Program Directions.
