The creation of good films and TV dramas is intimately related to a country’s training of talent, business environment, regulatory system, and protection of intellectual property rights. The winners of the 2022 Golden Bell Awards included the period dramas “Gold Leaf and Seqalu: Formosa 1867,” the family comedy “The Making of an Ordinary Woman 2,” and the crime thriller “Danger Zone,” as well as the fantasy “Twisted Strings” and the workplace drama “Tears on Fire.” With the rise of streaming services in recent years, Taiwanese dramatic productions have grown increasingly diverse and have gained a new vitality.
